Alternatively a tool of some sort which is able to have a countdown of when various markets will be turned into play which could also alert you. The cost to send IM's wouldn't be that much.Comment on Watches, Alerts and Notifications by scampihttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604scampiMon, 16 Jun 2008 18:46:24 UTCAn SMS alert when any horse becomes a non-runner (or being more specific- a non-runner in any races I have bets in) would be very useful.Comment on Improving your Betfair Experience by Dalemanhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=605DalemanMon, 02 Jun 2008 13:54:07 UTCIt would be useful to be able to see the win and place markets for the same race side by side rather than having to switch from one to the otherComment on Improving your Betfair Experience by j3zhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=605j3zMon, 12 May 2008 07:04:20 UTCIn order to execute strategies i aim to minimise risk. If the website and markets go down it would be better to have a policy that allows control of these factors -i.e. void all markets that go live during this time out.Minority Gameshttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=633BetfairWed, 30 Apr 2008 09:17:00 UTCA look at minority games. What makes people like or dislike them?Comment on Watches, Alerts and Notifications by aethelredhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604aethelredSat, 19 Apr 2008 15:17:00 UTCi'm with lazer. I'd like a view actually "in the website" of the progress of the event. "About to go in play" would be the most useful, with just enough time to get bets on before the event goes in play. But equally for events such as football, the minutes played and current score drawn in from the "live in play" feed would be tremendously useful for in-play betting.Comment on Watches, Alerts and Notifications by Lazerhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604LazerSun, 06 Apr 2008 17:19:45 UTCI'd really like an alert that the 'off' in racing is imminent. Say 10 secs before the hammer went down or as best as it could be judged.Comment on Improving your Betfair Experience by willyjhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=605willyjMon, 31 Mar 2008 02:40:13 UTCIt would be greatly appreciated if more effort could be put in to keeping the betfair advantage tool up to date. I use this extensively and regard it as essential for my betting strategies. However today all that is available are the last races at Taree and Terang. Your web site racing.betfair.com.au does not give me the information that the advantage tool provides when it is working correctly. Thanks, willyj.Comment on Watches, Alerts and Notifications by billy hillhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604billy hillWed, 05 Mar 2008 21:21:44 UTCHello, I like to put bets on several different sports which may be several hours or days in the future or being played simultaneously. I often don't even watch or listen to the events. So I would like an alert for:- market going: in-play, suspended, and closed. (football mainly) a 5 minute warning of market going in-play or starting so I can look at my unmatched bets and change them if I want to. On the suspend in football, some indication of why the suspend (goal, red card, penalty, match finished). I would possibly like the alerts as sounds, perhaps which you can edit to your choice. eg if i bet on 3 live matches, a different noise for the different matches. or different noises for different events. an "and they're off" for start of an in-play event a "ker-ching" noise for a winning bet a family fortunes style "oh-oh" for a losing bet. or a little symbol on the status bar to let you know that you have an alertImproving your Betfair Experiencehttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=605BetfairTue, 04 Mar 2008 11:03:00 UTCWhat would improve your Betfair experience? Is it possible for a ticker or RSS to indicate significant changes (e.g. a non runner taken out of market, liability on one team going over x pounds, a price moving on one player by more than x percent etc)? Then clicking on selection could take you to firefox market(and remove change notification from ticker/RSS ). A sound when a new highlight appears in box would also be good. I mainly sit at my PC and a ticker/RSS might be very useful, but I can see that a sms message whilst out shopping could be informative if selected via an option to show the same information. Heck what a sweat shopping could become.Comment on Watches, Alerts and Notifications by liberties1http://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604liberties1Tue, 26 Feb 2008 20:45:45 UTCBe able to customise alerts on particular markets, and send an sms when the event occurs. i.e if prices on an event reach a certain level then sms me the details.Comment on Watches, Alerts and Notifications by dwebhttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604dwebWed, 20 Feb 2008 21:41:20 UTCi would like to see an alert in relation to prices if you put a certain price in you would be alerted if the market reached that price either back or lay alert could be either sound or pop upWatches, Alerts and Notificationshttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=604BetfairTue, 19 Feb 2008 10:53:00 UTCHave your say on how you want to receive automated notifications on market data or events.Comment on Tradefair by hamilthttp://labs.betfair.com/Project+and+Discussion+Viewer/?contentId=594hamiltSun, 10 Feb 2008 12:46:21 UTCAn API interface for tradefair spreads would be great.
